Family, friends, exercise, laughter, food, and would I lose if I didn't include twitter? My followers make each day special with their tweets
How do you use Twitter in your professional life?
I use it as a nurse and in conjunction with my role on MTV Canada's 1Girl5Gays to promote health and safety to all viewers, including LGBTQ.

What was the funniest trend you've seen?
On one episode of the show I mentioned #hopeyoudonthaveacupcakedick in response to a sexual topic we were having. Random and funny trend.
What feature should Twitter add?
A easier way to view pictures or links that are added into tweets. Helps to share more information more conveniently.
Who do you wish had a Twitter feed but doesn't?
I wish my health centre had a twitter feed. Then we could promote our services and programs more easily.
What are some words or phrases you refuse to shorten for brevity?
I tend to write out all words. I will only use symbols when possible & etc... Communication is about keeping it simple st#@id = KISS. lol
Is there someone you want to follow you who doesn't already? If so, who?
I wish Ellen would follow me. I believe she is a remarkable inspiration and role model to the LGBTQ community and I wish she knew who I was.

Never. I think I have only been on twitter for a month or so! #virgin
Why should we vote for you?
I wasn't aware of the Shorty Awards until one of my fans nominated me. Now I see how influencial my tweets are and I believe create + change.

What's the most interesting connection you've made through Twitter?
I realized that some people that I thought were completely un-reachable are a tweet away. Mostly celebrities I adore.

I try to add pictures or incorporate information or visuals from personal, professional or education experiences of mine.
What inspires you to tweet?
Promoting to youth that it can be cool to think about our health amongst all the other things we indulge in such as fashion, arts, movies etc

Never! I am short, concise and like to tweet when I have something to say. Should I tweet more? You tell me!

You know those moments when you think of something yourself and have a realization: TWEET IT SO OTHERS CAN BENEFIT.
How long can you go without a tweet?
Usually an hour or two. Can't you track that? Its all in the system.

How do you imagine Twitter changing?
I imagine twitter playing a role in its members health. For example: reminding people to take meds on time or increasing access to Nurses.
Who do you admire most for his or her use of Twitter?
I admire @TheAdvocateMag for their role is spreading current and up-to-date news that educates us all on LGBTQ issues.

What is one of the biggest misconceptions of Twitter?
That it invades your privacy. You tweet what you feel comfortable tweeting.
Why should people follow you?
Because I have a hot hairy chest. They should want to because they will somehow benefit from my tweets.

@robdyerS4c, @DrAylaWilsonND: these two are very inspiring individuals who continuously force me to strive for self-improvement in what I do.
How do you decide what to tweet?
I go with what comes to my fingers at the moment, or the stuff I would write in a diary.
Why'd you start tweeting?
I had many fans from the show tell me I should get a twitter account. I did and I love connecting with them. They are all lovely individuals.
Has Twitter changed your life? If yes, how?
It has definitely improved my advocacy for health and safety to youth. I have also become more self-aware of how my actions impact others.
What do you wish people would do more of on Twitter?
Talk about successes in life and how they manage to stay healthy & over come adversity. Spread the knowledge and share meaningful experiences
How will the world change in the next year?
Social networking witll change to a more social gaming concept. I watched someone talk about this at Princeton and it really made sense.

Putting down others in your tweets.
What will the world be like 10 years from now?
INSANELY TECHNOLOGICAL. I am sort of excited.
