What's your best tweet?
Has to be the first one I sent to @MrsStephenFry - the beginning of a beautiful friendship and a fabulous column for Tweeting Times.
What are six things you could never do without?
1) Twitter. 2) TweetingTimes. 3) Oxygen. 4) Love. 5) My missus. 6) Sherbert Flying Saucers.
How do you use Twitter in your professional life?
For making lots of fabulous contacts and keeping in touch with what's REALLY going on in the world.
What's your favorite Twitter app?
Tweeting Times. 'Nuff said.
Twitter or Facebook?
What was the funniest trend you've seen?
What feature should Twitter add?
Twitter really needs its own multi-media, interactive digital magazine, written by tweeps, for tweeps... hold on a minute...
Who do you wish had a Twitter feed but doesn't?
Sara Ramirez. Hoping @ShondaRhimes can give her a nudge. Actually, if you're reading this, Shonda, we'd love to feature you in TweetingTimes!
What are some words or phrases you refuse to shorten for brevity?
Antidisestablishmentarianism: can't quite work out the short form...
Is there someone you want to follow you who doesn't already? If so, who?
@ThisIsDavina - she'd look fabulous in TweetingTimes but, alas, the lovely Davina does not answer my tweets. Yet....
Have you ever unfollowed someone? Who and why?
Yes. Porn spammers. Oh, and someone who seemed intent on turning Twitter into eBay... I don't want to buy your Red or Dead boots!
Why should we vote for you?
We pour blood, sweat and tears into TweetingTimes alongside full-time jobs; it would be twiffic to have a Shorty to show for our efforts.
Terms you wish would start trending on Twitter right now?
#TweetingTimes - can we make that happen, tweeps?
What's the most interesting connection you've made through Twitter?
@MrsStephenFry - the most down to earth, caring, wonderful, sexy woman I've ever known. Could give MrsTweetingTimesEd a run for her money!
Hashtag you created that you wish everyone used?
#TweetingTimes and #FlatterySaturday
How do you make your tweets unique?
They all begin with @TweetingTimesEd... Does that count? ;)
What inspires you to tweet?
Feelings. Emotions. The state of the world. Pestering, sorry, PERSUADING people to appear in Tweeting Times...
Ever get called out for tweeting too much?
Honestly? Yes, just once, when we first launched TweetingTimes and I was replying to & thanking everyone who sent congrats and comments.
140 characters of advice for a new user?
If you're not sure, ask; don't be afraid of looking silly & and don't tell us when you're going for a wee/cuppa - we don't need to know that.
How long can you go without a tweet?
Errm... 20 seconds? No, seriously, I have to fit Tweeting around my full-time job. Which means I don't sleep much :).
Who do you admire most for his or her use of Twitter?
Too many to list but, a few r Stephen & Edna Fry, Sarah Cawood (TT cover girl), MaggiePhilbin, Wossy... & I should mention @TazYellowWolf ;)
Why'd you start tweeting?
I first joined as @TazYellowWolf to share inspiration and encourage positive change. @TweetingTimesEd came about when TweetingTimes was born.
Has Twitter changed your life? If yes, how?
Absolutely! I've met wonderful people, exchanged amazing contacts, learned lots and, of course, launched Tweeting Times.
What do you wish people would do more of on Twitter?
Be open to meeting & replying to new tweeps. I know it's tough when you have lots of followers, but you'd be nowhere on Twitter without them.
How will the world change in the next year?
Everybody will be reading Tweeting Times the world over. Obviously.
What are some big Twitter faux pas?
Touched on this briefly already: minute life details (making cup of tea, brb), using it to sell stuff too often, not reading TweetingTimes.
What will the world be like 10 years from now?
We'll have learned lots & realised we need to be in touch with Mother Earth. When I'm not hugging virtual trees I'll be editing TweetingTimes
